What kind of riding do you typically do?
Enduro! Spend most of my time on the enduro bike, but like to mix it up with a ride on my hardtail or road ride. I'm pretty race oriented and I like all day missions where I can ride some long, natural, race level descents in some big mountains.
What does your dream trail look like?
Fast and rough yet flowy!
What kind of music do you listen to?
A bit of everything but mostly some kind of metal
What does a typical day look like for you?
During the week, work 6am-3pm and ride/gym after work, during summer we ride until late! Weekends always packed with some kind of riding activity, there are too many good options to choose from!
How did you get into riding?
Living at the edge of a mountain in Australia with a DH track down the street! General love for bikes since I was a toddler helped too.
What are your strengths?
Work ethic, commitment, self-driven, relaxed, desire to learn, self-reflection.
What are your weaknesses?
Confidence, self-compassion, comparing myself to others.
What are your plans for 2021?
Racing locally and abroad (if permitted), locally racing NW Cup DH races on the Dreadnought as well as competing in high-level Enduro races including the North American Enduro Cup, EWS Whistler, EWS Qualifier in Mexico, Cascadia Dirt Cup Enduro Series as well as several others. Looking forward to creating unique and entertaining content to grow myself and the brands I represent.
Who or what inspires you?
What inspires me is getting the most of life, I love riding bikes as I feel this truly brings me joy and the opportunity to have fantastic experiences and I want to simply be the best I can be. A few people I look up to would be Jared Graves, Lionel Sanders and David Goggins.
What do you enjoy outside of biking?
Travelling/adventure in all forms, particularly those adventures attached to some kind of sport like skiing, rally racing, rock climbing, activities that bring me to cool places and see/do cool things. Also capturing it all through my camera.
What's your favorite motto or saying?
Focus on you until the focus is on you
What's your Pet Peeve?
Inconsiderate people in general
What gets you stoked?
Post race vibes with friends - especially when the race has gone well.
Favorite food?
Being out in the mountains, seeing things many people do not get to see and doing what makes me happy every day!
Any weird routines or superstitions?
Putting my shoes on right foot first. Checking a door is locked 5 times.
